Miss Universe 2007
Last May 28, 2007, the 56th Miss Universe pageant was held at the National Auditorium in Mexico City, Mexico. Out of the 77 delegates, Miss Riyo Mori of Japan emerged as the winner. The pageant was hosted by Vanessa Minnillo and Mario Lopez. The top 15 includes Miss Venezuela, Thailand, Denmark, Nicaragua, Angola, Slovenia, USA, Brazil, India, Mexico, Japan, Ukraine, Tanzania, Korea and Czech Republic. Fourth Runner Up goes to USA, third Runner Up is Miss Korea, Second Runner Up for Miss Venezuela and First Runner Up is Miss Brazil. Miss Philippines was Miss Photogenic and Miss China was awarded as Miss Congeniality.
